He is a professor and a clinical director at Dept. of orthodontic, school of dentistry, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Korea. He graduated from dental school at 1988 and finished orthodontic program at 1991, He got PhD from Kyungpook National University at 1997. He served full time instructor, assistant professor and associate professor since 1994.
He did pioneer work in development of microimplant and studied extensively since 1999 and wrote more than 30 international articles about microimplants. He has written three textbooks and has owned 5 patents concerning microimplants. He is also founder and share holder of Dentos Inc limited (Absoanchor).
