Dr. Amornpong Vachiramon works as a faculty at Mahidol University and Praram 9 Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand. He is trained in 3 specialties and 2 subspecialties which are oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics with subspecialty in craniofacial and cleft surgery as well as craniofacial orthodontics. Dr. Vachiramon graduated his Subspecialty Craniofacial and Cleft Surgery Fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, USA where he also received his Subspecialty Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship. He graduated dentistry and Graduate Diploma of Clinical Sciences in Oral Surgery from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. He then pursued both surgical and orthodontic trainings, at the same time received M.Sc. with distinction award in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and M.Sc. in Orthodontics from Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. In addition, he was awarded Certificate Training in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. He has passed his specialist board examinations in both Orthodontics and Oral surgery in United Kingdom, Australia and Ireland. He is also a Board-certified Clinical Anaplastologist (Maxillo-Facial Prosthetics) by the American Board for Certification in Clinical Anaplastology in USA. Besides dentistry and surgery, he studies business administration and was awarded Doctorate degree in Business Administration (DBA). Dr. Vachiramon is currently on the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) credentials board committee. He is also a Diplomate and Fellow of ICOI and holds a Mastership in Implant Prosthodontic Section of ICOI.
